#7 SUPER SHARPS™ SCROLL SAW BLADES

Gives a nice clean cut when I am cutting red oak that is 0.75 inches thick.

I have been thoroughly satisfied with these blades with the understanding that I have not tried all brands.

Well made, durable and the 100 pack quantity makes them easily available between orders. I use them with middle school students and they hold up well when put to the test. Great cuts and tough enough to stand up to the rigors kids put them through.

I do quite a bit of compound cutting with 1.5 inch wood. I have used the number 7 blades on walnut, sappy pine and knotty cedar. They hold up well and produce a very clean cut. These blades are more expensive than the other blades I use, but well worth it on thick wood. Stay safe, ENJOY!

Blades are really excellent quality. Cut 3 and a half projects on one blade (Walnut), and no burns! Then again, I do use packing tape before gluing pattern to stock...blades are a pleasure...cut some Maple real cleanly as well. I was cutting 3/4" stock, too. I will definitely be getting more!

I BOUGHT THESE SPECIFIC FOR COMPOUND CUTTING IN THICK OAKS AND MAPLES UP TO ABOUT 1.5 INCHES AND I DONT REGRET IT ONE BIT. A LITTLE BIT OF BOSTIK BLADE COTE AND A HIGH SPEED AND I QUICKLY AND EFFORTLESSY CUT WHAT I WANT OUT IN PERFECT FASHION. THE CHIPS CLEAR DOWNWARD THE BLADE DOESNT DRIFTOR ANYTHING AND IT FEELS LIKE IT RAKES THE DEBRIS OUT. ITS GREAT I OWN ALL THE BLADES AND I LOVE THEM TO P IECES. THEY LAST LONG AND LEAVE A GREAT FINISH WITH NO BURNING AND TURN ON A DIME AND IMMEDIATELY CATCH AND T.RACK ON THIER OWN. Having spent many hours in front of the scroll saw, using assorted blades (Flying Dutchman, Olson, etc. - all fine blades), the PS quality is above them all. I was shocked how easily I managed straight cuts, the difference is tremendous. The blade seems to be a bit thicker but I did not side by side compare specs. I will definetly be ordering the PS brand as my blade of choice.
