WHEN TUNED PROPERLY THE BLADE WILL LEAVE ALMOST A PAPER THIN WASTE ON THE OUTSIDE. OUTSTANDING :)

    It's worth the extra money!

I mill small logs on my large Grizzly bandsaw and after trying several different brands of "green wood" blades I have found in my situation these give me the most board feet of easy cutting. They seem to stay sharper longer than the others I have tried. This saves wear and tear on my bandsaw too as trying to push a log through the saw using a cheap blade that went dull too soon is no fun. I expect to get a certain amount of cuttings out of a blade and this one gives me the 40 bucks worth of cutting I expect from it. I have used the Timberwolf 1/2" wide "green wood" blade also which stays sharp a long time too but I have found the 1" wide blade does not wander when cutting like the 1/2" one does in my situation. It could be operator error but the 1/2" wide blade just powers through the log so easily when its new I have to be very careful to keep the log sled tight against the fence or it wanders off on me and I get a crooked cut.
