SET OF URETHANE TIRES
Polyurethane has a 5 year shelf life. Even if kept in the baggie, any UV exposure shortens that time. Fluorescent lights put out a bunch of UV so any room with that time of lighting that the belts are stored in shortens the life.

Rikon 14" band saw tires
Doesn't set into recessed wheel groove; too wide.

1st time
I've never changed the tires before it was easy and straight forward , however it was time consuming and had it's difficulty. I wasn't looking for a how to video but thank God I found one. I thought that I had the wrong size tires for my bandsaw , but after watching the you tube video that's the way it's supposed to be , that way they don't slip. I took 2-3 clamps and 2 screwdrivers , a few cuss words and longer than the 10 minutes that they say. Now I'm very satisfied with the results. As for the 4 stars I've never experienced different brands of bandsaw tires ( how they feel and how easy or difficult it is to install ) so overall I'm satisfied.

much better than rubber.
This is my second set of urethane tires. Along with low tension saw blades and new bearings, it makes my ancient Delta saw a joy to use!
