Ceramic Tile: see concrete
Concrete: Usually use an electric hand saw with carving underwheel, cut part way through and break off. Diamond blade will not cut concrete.
Corian: 1/2" x 8 tpi - 0 raker tooth (use a carbide or bi-metal blade)
Corrugated Cardboard: 3/4" x 3 tpi
Frozen wood: 1/2" x 3 tpi AS
Green wood: 1/2" x 3 tpi AS
Metals: PC series, 0.025
Aluminum, brass, mild steel
radius cuts: 1/4" x 10 tpi or 14 tpiradius cuts
straight cuts: up to 3/16" thick use 1/2" x 18 tpi, up to 1/2" thick use 1/2" x 14 tpi, up to 3/4" thick use 1/2" x 8 tpi, 3/4" yellow brass use 1/2" x 10 tpi
Plastic: nothing that has lead in it. Use duct tape to keep heat down. If tape gums up, use clear tape. Buy according to radius needed.
Plexiglass: thinner the material, finer the teeth. Buy on radius needed
1/8" thick use 1/8" x 14 tpi
straight cutting use 1/2" x 4 tpi
PVC: 1/4" pipe or under use a blade with 10 tpi, thicker than 1/4" use a blade with 8 tpi
